Todd Oliver founded GameDay Management, Inc. (GDM) in October of 2004 with the mission of becoming a preeminent sports marketing firm.  GDM is dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients through exceptional management of the properties represented and by maximizing revenue growth through corporate relationships.  GDM has negotiated partnerships with some of the best-known blue chip companies in the country.  GDM represents some of the best small college properties, including Capital University (NCAA III), Wittenberg University (NCAA III) as well as the Columbus Sports Commission, the Indiana North-South All-Star Football Classic and the prestigious Ohio North-South Football Classic, to name a few.  GDM currently manages the broadcast, print, signage and promotional rights of eight collegiate and event properties.

Before founding GDM, Todd spent five years as Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  While at USF, Oliver worked with the 2000 Florida Citrus Bowl, in Orlando, Florida as a media advisor with the University of Florida, ESPN and ABC Sports and was honored by USF as a recipient of the 2001 Values in Action Award.  After a successful stint with USF, which saw his media guides ranked three straight years “No. 1 in the Nation”, Oliver was then appointed Assistant Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions at Ball State University, an NCAA I-A institution under the guidance of former Athletic Director Andrea Seger and current Tulsa University Athletic Director Lawrence “Bubba” Cunningham.  Oliver served as the BSU’s athletic communications contact at the 2001 EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii, where the Cardinals defeated No. 3 ranked Kansas and No. 4 ranked UCLA before losing in the finals to No. 1 Duke.  Oliver’s creative energy and boundless enthusiasm resulted in unprecedented growth for Ball State athletics during his three year tenure.  He increased revenue in all advertising inventory, and created and implemented several new marketing programs.  In 2003, Oliver returned to his native roots in the Buckeye State serving as Director of Sports Marketing and Media Relations at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.  He was instrumental in the sports marketing development of the university’s inaugural football season and the Ohio Dominican Football Radio Network which comprised of three statewide Ohio radio stations.  While at ODU, Oliver received national attention in the August 30, 2004 issue of Sports Illustrated for ODU’s unusual and creative marketing strategy.  While in Columbus, he served as a media liaison for the 2004 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on the campus of The Ohio State University.

A 1997 graduate of Wilmington College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Oliver was recognized as a “featured alumnus” in the Wilmington College Athletic Association’s publication.  A member of the National Association of College Marketing Administrators (NACMA), Oliver and his wife Brenda, reside in Columbus, Ohio.
